Ingredients:
- Full cream milk - 500ml

Method:
Lemon and chocolate
custards have almost the similar procedure of preparation. However,
you need to exclude lemon peel and add the cocoa in the beginning of
step 3 stirring it properly until dissolved completely. Follow the
remaining steps to make chocolate custard as lemon custard.
Assemble the
Cake:
- Slice the cake horizontally making it into two layers.
- Make layers using 1/3 cups of marsala. You can also use sweetened cold coffee if you don't want to prepare an alcoholic version of the cake.
- Make sure to have 3 sponge discs. Place one disc on the plate and use liquer or coffee to moisten it. Now spread the lemon custard on the first disc of the sponge and put second one upon it.
- Repeat this process and spread chocolate custard this time. Put last disc of sponge and coat with stick.
- Keep in the refrigerator for overnight in order let it set. You can also refrigerate the cake for 1-2 days to get enhanced flavors.
The Italian cake can
be decorated with the mix of thick white cream, sugar, vanilla
essence,
300ml thickened
whipping cream, flaked roasted almonds, and grated chocolate. Double check and re-measure the ingredients in case you are dealing with lactose intolerance chocolate. You must know how mild or severe your intolerance is.
